I love my kindle, but I hate how the screen can be ever so slightly reflective when you're reading at night. So, on a purchase to get a new charger cable I decided to grab this!
I saw other positive reviews and I thought 'Why not? It's relatively cheap' and grabbed it.
BOY! Was it worth it!
This thing does not cause any reflection, it's really bright, it turns on easy, and it works on my kindle -with- the leather case! How much more could you ask for?
I guess it would be a little nicer if it didn't go so far down on the screen. But, that's not anything bad... All it covers up is the 'book title' part of the screen. You can also lift it upward further if you're not bothered by it kind-of hanging off the top of your kindle (nothing that bothers it or makes it not work right, just something that ticks me off as a person with a bit of OCD)
Overall? If you're looking for a light, GET THIS ONE. It's great! It's also white, so you don't have this bulky black thing hanging off your kindle.
I also use it as a flashlight sometimes, it works that way too lol

This is a nice little book light just would not requirement for Kindle DX. You have good readability on about 75% of the screen the rest is hard to see. I think this would be a good pick for the smaller Kindles.

This is a great light in terms of compactness & design EXCEPT if you want to use it to read by at night. It doesn't illuminate the bottom third of the page. I've stopped using it in favor of the mighty bright which I basically also don't like cause of it's clunky design & the screen glare it causes but at least I can read with it. Is there anything out there that illuminates the full screen & is designed compactly?
