I purchased the Nonin GO2 for my mother who has emphysema and is on oxygen 24/7. It worked well on arrival, was easy to read, etc. But I was unsure of the accuracy so on the next visit to the doctor, I tossed it into my mothers purse. When the nurse checked my mothers oxygen level with their oximeter, it showed a 'low' reading. I immediately used the Nonin to compare readings....Nonin showed a higher oxygen reading. When I asked the nurse about the difference in the readings between the oximeters...upon seeing the Nonin brand, she said, 'oh, don't worry, yours is accurate. We've just ordered the Nonin to replace ours. They're accurate!'

I love it. Have checked it against one at the Doctor's office and it is dead on the money?...would reccommend it to anyone.
Not sure what is so great about it...high cost - few features February 1, 2010 Jon S. Akhtar (Raleigh, NC USA) 0 out of 7 found this review helpful
Well, I ordered it. Took it out of the box, and right away realized that all it did was take take a single measurement. Returned it immediately.
Compare it to the CMS-50E [...] for ~$10 more you get..well there seriously is no comparison feature-wise.
This should cost $39, or even $29.
Good choice and great value. January 28, 2010 S. Pouliot (Colchester,CT) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this on Amazon becuase of my Pulminary Fibrosis. The Nonin is a reliable piece of equipment that I use every day to check my o2 levels. I can't wait to compare the Dr's readings with my the Nonin's. I'm very satisfied so far and recommend this highly.
Reliable, Accurate, Life-saver! January 5, 2010 C. Ott (Denver, CO USA) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I bought this for my wife after she got out of the hospital having suffered 2 months in the ICU with acute Pneumonia and Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome. We had it's readings verified multiple times with the "professional" grade oximeters at the hospital and it was always right on. It allowed us to slowly wean my wife off her oxygen supply safely and carefully through her home rehab. We'll continue to use it now ANY time we have any concern or suspicion about breathing!
What a life saver! My wife doesn't sense well when she's hypoxic. I wish we'd had this before she was admitted so we could have known she was de-saturating so badly!
