This scale is simple to use, very attractive, and remarkably consistent. I always get the same weight during repeated weighings of the same person or item. The "tap here" action requires a pretty serious tap, but it generally works on the 1st or 2nd heavy tap.
It is shows weights that are 2 or 3 pounds lighter than my old scale (that alone is worth 5 stars!). I desperately want to believe that it is accurate given that I "dropped" 2 pounds merely by buying this scale, but I do not know for sure. I put 30 lbs of bar weights on it and it registered 30.6 pounds (the same as my old scale). If it registers too light, it should have been 29.6 lbs. My wife says that it registers slightly less than 1 pound lighter than the scale used at her weight watcher meeting. In any event, consistency is the most important thing in tracking my progress toward svelteness, and this scale is rock solid in that category.
For $29, it is a truly awesome product.

My experience with this scale is similar to the experiences other have noted in amazon reviews. I was using a cheap Taylor scale that was difficult to read and very inaccurate. If I weighed myself 4 times in one day, I would get 4 wildly different numbers. Determining my weight usually involved weighing myself multiple times and then taking a guess.
The EatSmart scale solved these problems. I've tested it multiple times and found the results to be consistent. Like others have noted, the big numbers are really appreciated.

I bought this item a few weeks ago and could not have been happier. It looks great, I particularly like the sturdy glass, and the blue LCD display is also very easy to read and a great feature. This scale is one of the most accurate I've had so far and after testing it for the past few days I've yet to find a problem with it. It is definitely a great investment if you're ready looking to count the grams, and at a very affordable price! Who wants to spend 60-80 bucks on a scale anyway!

Accurate weight that does not change when I get off and on several times. Nice sized display that continues to show weight for a few seconds after you get off. Good looking, heavy scale. Does not feel or look cheap at all.
